ART OF FEELING.
Rooted in the Baltic Sea. Inspired by coastal life
Mandrika Art is the creative world of Latvian artist Dana Mandrika, where the feeling of the Baltic Sea becomes abstract art and one-of-a-kind jewelry.
The paintings are not landscapes, but feelings translated into colour, shape, texture and space. Some are created with real Baltic sand, others carry the movement of water, changing coastal light, storms, stillness and natural imperfection.
Sea glass and stones personally found along the Kurzeme shoreline become jewelry that preserves the unique forms shaped by the sea.
THE LANGUAGE OF SAND COLLECTION
Baltic Sea jewelry
Every piece begins by the Baltic coast. I personally collect the sea glass and stones along the Kurzeme shoreline, then turn each unique find into jewelry without taking away the character shaped by the sea.

A Closer Look at Sand Texture
Real Baltic coast sand gives each painting a surface that changes with the light. Look closer at the raw details, natural irregularities and traces left by the material itself.
